Can Jessica Chastain Find Love with Italian Count?

Jessica Chastain Oscars

Jessica Chastain, the once quiet and shy girl from Sacramento who was an Oscar nominee for her starring role as an intense CIA agent in “Zero Dark Thirty,” has a new beau. He’s Gian Luca Passi De Preposulo, an Italian Count. Word is that he’s scion of an ancient family from Bergamo in the Lombardy region of Italy.

Jessica says she met the dark and handsome Gian last June at a fashion show in Paris.  The meeting must have been romantic.  “I love fashion,” she says. “As a young girl I would always save my money to buy fashion magazines and imagine myself doing photo shoots or walking up the red carpet.”  What better place to meet her lover.

Gian works with an event company in Milan and also has interest in a vineyard in Treviso. He markets Fiol Prosecco, a well-regarded sparkling wine that embodies the Italian philosophy of celebrating the joys of life.

Now that The Oscars are over and she’s no longer playing in “The Heiress” on Broadway, Jessica and Gian are planning a romantic break for themselves, according to The Daily Mail.

It sure sounds like a fairy tale romance to us for the talented actress who said about her youth, “I was always a little awkward, a redhead and very freckly.”

Hi Ellie. Interesting article, the City in Italy where Fiol Prosecco is produced is, however, called Treviso (NOT Trevisa) and is in the Veneto region. just an FYI.

Interesting that every article about this romance mentions his company and product? Great PR move!
