A few months ago the press was buzzing with rumors that Eva Longoria was dating Miami-based entrepreneur and philanthropist Ernesto Arguello. According to Longoria there wasn’t any truth to the rumors and the two were “just friends.”
Arguello, 34, had been cast in “Ready for Love,” the short lived reality dating show Longoria produced. Arguello chose former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey as his date but they split last year.
Well romance stops for no one and and Longoria announced recently “Happy to share NOW that it’s true! Couldn’t be happier.” The couple even went to Nicaragua to meet Arguello’s family.
“I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn’t see!,” says Longoria.
Prior to Arguello, Longoria was married to NBA player Tony Parker (until 2010) and she has dated Eduardo Cruz (brother of Penelope Cruz) and NFL player Mark Sanchez.
The multi-talented Longoria is best known for her starring role as Gabrielle Solis on “Desperate Housewives.” She got her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from Texas A& M and her Masters Degree in Chicano Studies from California State University in Northridge.
