If this story does not bring tears to your eyes, well I don’t know what will.
Ashley McIntrye heard about Danny Robinson’s three-year search for a kidney donor on the radio and decided to see if she was compatible. She was, and she met Danny and his family at a local Cheesecake Factory before the operation, where his family said she was already family to them. They kept in touch before the operation, and found they really clicked, but neither said anything because they were afraid that the transplant might not work. But it did. And when Danny got stronger, he decided to really get to know the woman who saved his life. He proposed over the holidays and now they are expecting their first child.
