A stranger’s act of kindness in New York City is probably one of the rarest things to find in such a fast paced and impersonal world. But, for Rhode Island couple Elan Spreiser and Koren Lockwood, one stranger’s small act was the best part about their rocky engagement.
The Rhode Island couple decided to take a weekend trip into the city, and Spreiser decided it would be the perfect place to propose. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with his grand gestures to propose on the observation deck of Rockefeller Center, nor did it do well for his backup plan on a horse and buggy ride. Desperate and wet to the bone, Spreiser made the most of the romantic moment and proposed to Lockwood on the street.
Luckily, Jeannae Zuloaga happened to be standing close by the intimate proposal. She stopped looking up directions, and instead snapped some really adorable pictures of the two. The couple was so grateful for her serendipitous photography that they decided to use the pictures for their Save the Date!
